The EES Europe International Panel of Experts reviewed the nominees for the EES AWARD 2022, selected pioneering solutions and awarded the Energy Storage Industry Innovation Award. Among the ten finalists for the energy storage industry's most prestigious innovation award, the EnerOne battery storage system (under CATL), the STABL SI 100 modular multilevel converter and the Voltfang Industrial made from second-life car batteries Energy storage system announced as this year's winner.

CATL EnerOne is a liquid cooled battery storage system for outdoor use. Based on a lithium-iron phosphate battery, it has a rated capacity of 372.7KWh and covers an area of only 1.69 square meters. The battery capacity is 280AH, the discharge rating is 1C, and the guaranteed life is up to 10,000 cycles. The system is suitable for inverters between 600 and 1500 volts.
The organizers said that the judges were impressed by EnerOne's highly sophisticated, mature, and fully integrated system that provided options for installation in areas with extreme climatic conditions. They also praised the potential to reduce costs by integrating into CATL's broader value chain.
